- Health data was provided by local health departments (SNHD submitted data for Clark County)
- Demographic data from census and American Community Survey
Potential uses
- Compare Clark County to other cities/metropolitan areas
- Create data visualizations that can be shared to social media or exported as PNG files
- Sort data by health indicator or city, then by race/ethnicity or sex
- Download datasets as csv files
- Open source for use by the public, academic researchers, stakeholders, etc.
Next steps
- In 2017, they will release data on which cities have implemented relevant policies and evidence-based practices to address the health indicators
