What is the Community Health Assessment (CHA)?
The CHA is conducted by the Southern Nevada Health District every three to five years and provides an overview of health information and helps identify populations that may be at increased risk of poor health outcomes. The CHA looks at core health indicators such as demographic and socioeconomic status, maternal and child health, infectious diseases, chronic diseases, mental and behavioral health, health care access, environmental health, crime and overall wellness.
What is the Community Status Assessment (CSA) Survey?
This survey describes the community, including demographics, health status, contributing factors (e.g., social determinants of health, health equity indicators, and across all these variables, existing inequities).
What is the purpose of this survey?
Identifying the gaps and barriers in our community as well as determining priorities of health that we want to address.
Is the survey confidential?
100% yes, no responses will not be tracked back to an individual at all.
When will we hear about the results/report?
The report will be made available March 2025 – stay tuned! We will share it community-wide and have it available on our website, so check back soon.
