8th Grade Students Proficient in Math

Measurement Period: 2021-2022
This indicator shows the percentage of eighth grade students who are proficient or above in mathematics.
This value refers to students that meet or exceeded state standards in math as measured by the Nevada Criteria Referenced Tests (CRT).

Why is this important?

Competence in mathematics is essential for functioning in everyday life as well as for success in our increasingly technological workplace. Students who take higher level mathematics and science courses, which require strong fundamental skills in mathematics, are more likely to attend and to complete college.
